Every student enrolled in the IB Diploma Programme (DP) is required to complete a CAS Portfolio where they record their CAS experiences and CAS Project
The CAS experiences must meet at least one (or more) of the seven learning outcomes. The CAS experiences must also be in one of the three CAS strands: creativity, activity and/or service. There are three parts to every CAS experience. You must get approval for the experience (via Managebac, record reflections/evidence, and have an identified supervisor review your experience. Every student must also complete a CAS project. The CAS project must be at least one month in duration (from planning to execution to reflection). CAS must also be ongoing and show a habit of service over 18 months, the time they are in the Diploma Programme. |
