CAS
What is CAS?
Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) is an IB Diploma Programme requirement that is a part of the IB DP Core. The IB requires CAS as it enables students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development by learning through experiences. Every student enrolled the IB Diploma Programme (DP) is expected to keep a CAS Portfolio where they record their participation in activities that meet the seven learning outcomes through the strands of creativity, activity and service. IB DP students all complete a CAS Project. These experiences occur over the 18 months the students is enrolled as Diploma student (Year 1 and Year 2). Along the way, students conduct interviews to ensure they receive the support they need. |
