CAS 

What is CAS? 

The CAS Requirement enables students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development by learning through experience.  It provides opportunities for self-determination and collaboration with others, fostering a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment from their work. It is a requirement for all IB Diploma Candidates. ​

Who has to do CAS? 

All 11th and 12th grade students enrolled the Diploma Programme.

CAS Information and Requirements
​

  • Meet all 7 outcomes 
  • Complete a CAS Project (1 month project)
  • Span an 18-month period 
  • Complete 3 CAS Interviews

7 Learning Outcomes

  • LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
  • LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the learning process
  • LO3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

  • LO6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
